Following around one entire year of no activity, the Mirage Hotel and Casino’s well-known volcano will be revived bigger and more stunning than ever before. The legendary LV megaresort is pulling out all the stops to attract as many visitors as they can to explore their redecoration.

This New Year’s Eve, the daredevil Robbie Knievel will have a crack at a motorbike leap over the Mirage Hotel-Casino’s manmade volcano. This jump will indicate the ending of a 3-year transformation of the LV casino and hotel. Over the course of this period, the Sin City casino has spent about $110 million improving their rooms and suites.

The upcoming New Year’s Eve feat is said to be Knievel’s last feat in the U.S.. The act will continue for five mins. and have explosives and a state of the art music soundtrack. The music for the presentation has been performed by Mickey Hart (former Grateful Dead drummer). Robbie Knievel is the son of the deceased Evil Knievel-the first and most famous daredevils.

The Las Vegas, Nevada Mirage was opened in 1989 by Las Vegas tycoon Steve Wynn and was considered Vegas’ first megaresort. This reconstruction is one of a large cluster on the LV Strip as of late. The casino-hotel wishes that this show will draw tons of sightseers to the LV hotel-casino. The idea behind the reconstruction is to outdo other iconic LV hotels like the Bellagio casino.
