wynn encore
Vegas hotel tycoon Steve Wynn unquestionably has a reason to be anxious about this Christmas time. With an investment of around $2.3 billion, the brand-new hotel and casino dubbed Encore will open in the next few days.

This luxurious casino and hotel is connected to the very popular Wynn Vegas on the Las Vegas Strip. While many Vegas hotel investors are trying their hardest to discover a direction to keep their hotel-casinos afloat, Wynn is doing extremely well with his billion dollar hotel-casino investments.

This 2000 room hotel is a great addition to the Wynn Las Vegas. The big attraction of this hotel will be the nightclub, called XS. Wynn has seen in the recent past that nightclubs are a huge attraction in LV, and not primarily the hotels as they were before. He says that Las Vegas, Nevada nightclubs frequently make more income and are a big draw for the young set.

He has also created an extravagant restaurant adjacent to the XS nightclub. Named after the well-known Colombian artist, Fernando Botero this circular steakhouse has a gigantic Botero carving as the centerpiece. Eventhough it is not as stunning as the nightclub which it is adjacent to; the Botero steakhouse is created to match pretty well with the loud LV nightclub.
The design pertaining to XS and Botero is a sort of St. Tropez feel, where the celebration chugs along nonstop and the majority of the partying occurs next to a pool or beach. These times are certainly different in LV, where many folks would rather social gatherings to slots nowadays.

tao
Along with the enormous success of the Tao Las Vegas at the Venetian, the owners of this Sin City nightclub are opening a spanking new Roman/Mediterranean designed restaurant called Lavo located in the Palazzo resort hotel. This ground-breaking idea is designed after the Roman bathhouses of ancient times. A ton of work has gone into the historical accuracy of this Las Vegas nightclub/restaurant and into the little details also.

This Las Vegas restaurant can fit 300 people and features a menu chock full of Mediterranean food. Their menu is designed to encourage the sharing of appetizers and small meals, as opposed to large one-person plates. The restaurant part also has an outdoor patio which can seat 100 visitors and overlooks the famous Las Vegas Strip.

The nightclub area features a state of the art audio and video system while live DJs are always availableto entertain the crowd. The nightclub stays open six nights a week opening its doors at 10:00 pm and closing approximately at 5 am. What the club doesn’t have is a VIP area, to this the creators say is to have a more shared feel.

Lavo always has lots of eye candy for the visitors (especially the male visitors). There is a model continuously bathing herself in the restaurant, female dancers, and other models acting out different historical scenarios. On the patio, you will find a reserve of hookahs with a “hookah master” helping you make the best choice.

This restaurant/nightclub is administered by the same team that inaugurated Tao Las Vegas in the Venetian Hotel Casino in 2005. Ever since the launch of this nightclub it has been one of the most popular clubs in Vegas, frequented mostly by celebrities. Along with the Tao Asian Bistro and Tao Beach, these have been the highest grossing destinations in the U.S. since 2006. This restaurant will be a big hit for The Palazzo Las Vegas. You can already find 3000 top of the line suites, the best shopping stores, and Las Vegas’ best restaurants and nightlife.
