Full Tilt Unveils newest Poker Client

The biggest internet poker site Full Tilt Poker is releasing a new and innovative poker interface that includes new aspects on both the front end and backend and makes navigating easy.

The first thing players will observe is a brand new welcome page featuring a brand new restored feel as well as a couple new features for example a list of various security tips shown on the bottom of the screen. FullTiltPoker.com’s updated client provides players three different lobby views: Basic, Standard and Classic View.

The Basic View gives novice players the opportunity of catching up with the new poker software and viewing the games without the stress of participating. The Basic View offers step by step information on all the available poker games, and provides players the chance to decide on their currency, type of game, Game (Hold’em, Omaha Hi or HL, Stud and Mixed Games), Limit (Fixed, Pot or No Limit), and Stake. Also players can now observe the poker action before joining a poker table with the brand new “Observe Table” choice or by clicking on “Browse Table to see the full list of open tables.

The Standard View gives info about all the open games and permits poker players to tailor the list of games and poker tables to present only the games of their choice. This selection also supplies customers the prospect of choosing the type of poker table, game, stake and observe the tables before joining the action.

Poker players can also choose the Classic view and keep Full Tilt’s earlier lobby, however, this selection will be offered for a limited time only and will be discontinued in a short while.

Both the Basic and Standard views also include groundbreaking new aspects like new rotating graphic screen located on the left that gives customers direct  access to FullTiltPoker’s promotions and events for example the FTOPS, Iron Man, Play with the Pros, Full Tilt Poker Academy, Poker Deposit Bonuses, and many other Full Tilt Promotions and Full Tilt Poker Tournaments, as well as an option for video that allows players to view videos straight from the new poker client.

Online Poker Challenge with durrrr Just Getting Started

June 24th, 2009

Full Tilt has just introduced an innovative info site containing all the action of the “Durrrr Challenge”, an incredible online heads up poker tournament presenting some of the most talented high stakes poker players taking on the online poker phenom Tom “durrrr” Dwan.

The innovative new site offers online poker players and fans the opportunity to follow this incredible internet poker challenge and check out regular statistical updates. With this fresh “durrrr Challenge” website players can view all the action and check out each poker hand played during durrrr Challenge, and get tons of stats, including number of hands played, session time, amount won, average won during each hand and lots more.

Close to six months ago, the twenty-three year old internet poker pro handed out a heads-up poker challenge for any player with the loot, time and talent to accept it. Any poker pro entering the durrrr challenge has to bet $500,000 against Dwan’s $1.5 million. Tom’s challenge states that at least 50,000 poker hands need to be played at the same time at 4 or more tables of no-limit Hold’em or pot-limit Omaha. At the end of the durrrr challenge, the poker player who has more money will take home the pool. In essence if you enter the Full Tilt Challenge and win a dollar after the 50,000 hands, then you will take home Dwan’s $1.5 Million, but if he succeeds by $1 then he will earn your $500,000.

Up to now, some poker players have accepted to play the “durrrr challenge”, including Full Tilt Poker Star Phil Ivey and David Benyamine, however, only Patrick Antonius has said yes to the challenge. At this point, both poker players have completed in a total of 20,647 hands out of 50,000, with Tom durrrr Dwan leading the count $726,546 total.

If you would like to see more details on the durrrr poker challenge and durrrr vs. Antonius, please visit http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/durrrr-vs-antonius
